This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they do not do this AWESOME paint justice!!

The casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any mods or paint was done.

I removed the center of the rear bumper as usual, but, I gave the tail lights a little different shape.....I made them "concave" this time!!!!
However, the main mod for this one might not be too obvious!!
It took a little work to get the Jada DUB CITY wheels to roll inside the fenders!!!! Contrary to what you might think, this operation is not that easy!!! Especially to get the wheels to roll....which these do!!!

Quite a bit of VERY careful precision grinding to the front inner fender wells was done, plus, the base was slightly modified to get the clearance for the now raised center of the tires and also ride at a lower level, plus, the rear of the interior was slowly thinned out to a near "see through" state in spots!!
The axles were leveled so that all four wheels touch and roll simultaneously and not rock back and forth!!!!
And as you can probably tell, the ride height is pretty freakin' low!!!

The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint, plus, Alclad Chrome lacquer.

It started with a super smooth Urethane BLACK base, Then Alclad Chrome was applied for the Flames!!! Candy Grandeur Blue was faded to Candy Cobalt Blue, then that fades into Candy Purple!!!!!!
This process was repeated TWO MORE TIMES for a total of THREE LAYERS OF CANDY-FADE FLAMAGE!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish WAY SMOOTH!!!! This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe what your eyes actually see in person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames WILL dance and Just DISAPPEAR into the AWESOME Candy Fade!!!

And last but not least, tail lights and the head lights were detailed with Alclad Chrome...and some Candy Red finished out the Concave Tail lights!!!!
