This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY do not do this piece
justice!!

Filled roof and sides for a cool DELIVERY Look!!!!!
NICE Preferred DEEP DISH MAGS!!!!!!
The ride height was lowered slightly with some precision alterations
made to the base and interior!!!
The original front windshield was carefully modified to fit in the
much lower chopped roof space and it was blacked out from the rear
so the purple tint is not really even noticeable at all!!!!!!
BUT the MAIN
Story other than the the roof is
the CANDY/CHROMA combination paint!!!!!!
The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG
and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint, plus, Alclad Chrome lacquer.
The pics above will give you a good idea of color changes,
but, I want to emphasize AGAIN that these pics do
ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTICE to the way this
Color Changing paint looks in person!!!!!!
After a lot of sanding and priming to smooth out the marine epoxy
filled roof and side panels, I started with a super smooth Urethane
BLACK base color, Then Alclad Chrome flames were applied over the
top, followed with 3 Coats of Candy Tangerine was then shot over
the top and hood!!!
This process was repeated TWO TIMES for a total of THREE LAYERS
of flames and 9 coats of Candy Tangerine over the top!!!!!
CHROMALUSION Red to Blue was then applied to the sides and rear,
and slightly over the front and top, but, leaving most
of the candy Tangerine intact in the center!!!
Still not finished....
I added ChromaLusion Gold to Magenta FLAMES!!!!!
A few MORE licks of Traditionals over the top and some
TRIBALS on the sides!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in FOUR coats making the finish WAY SMOOTH!!!!
This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe what your
eyes actually see in person!!!
