This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTE
LY do not do this paint justice!!

The casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any body mods or paint was done.
During the first build stages, this nose I creating started to remind me of those old locomotives with the grates mounted on the front referred to as "Cow Catchers"....thus, I named it Freight Train!!!!!! LOL!!
The front NOSE was COMPLETELY HANDFORMED from Marine Epoxy from the fenders UP!!! It was sanded, primed, and sanded more until blended perfectly with the original body lines and the NOSE was shaped in!! Its also just about to drag the ground!!!!!!! There was and EXTREME Amount of very tedious precision sanding with several different methods and grits utilized to get the very subtle body lines and curves into this beast!!!
The grill was donated from a 34 Ford!! Its headlights were removed and the sides and back were carefully shaved and trimmed!! Then it was covered with masking tape and placed on a layer of marine epoxy, pushed down and the marine epoxy was formed VERY loosely around the grills edges so as not to permanently adhere it in place just yet!! When the epoxy just started to set up, the grill was removed being careful not to disturb the newly formed edges!! From there it was a matter of lots of shaping by hand and several repeated epoxy applications to get it smoothed out and flowing into the other body curves!!!
The Frenched in headlights started with the original lights being ground smooth and holes drilled in place of them in new locations. When the marine epoxy was applied, I used a dentists pick to gently pre shape the tunnels for the lights....then later finished out the job with a cone shaped dremel bit and lastly, back to the sandpaper!!! Tack "brads" were used for the headlights themselves and were heavily polished and clearcoated prior to final installation!!!
For the ROLLERS, this time I chose Preferred Series Deep Dish Mags!!!
They required tubed axles for the right spacing and the chromed base, along with the interior were modified for the Absolute LOWEST Ride Height possible, then the axles were permanently bonded to the base with JB Weld and then leveled so that all four tires contact the surface at the same time
!!
They roll EXTREMELY well and look even better!!!
And the rears do a nice job of filling the fenderwell space up!!!!

The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!! Alclad Chrome Lacquer!!!!

It started with a BLACK URETHANE base color, then flames were added with Alclad Chrome!!!! Then, the Candy FADE was done TWO COLORS!!! Starting with Candy Cherry Red and seamlessly faded to Candy Purple!!!!!!!!! Once this coat was dry, the Alclad Flames were repeated TWO MORE time and followed with additional Candy FADE after EACH flame pattern layer!!!! PLUS, I also faded some Alclad around the rear and the front nose...blending into the flames!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish Pretty Darn SMOOTH!!!! This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe what your eyes actually see in person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames are VERY DEEP, Ghosty, and the whole thing is VERY NEAR "SpectraFlame" Colors!!!!

I also Detailed the exhaust tips, and added some Candy Red on the tail lights!!!!!
The interior is yellow and detailed in red and black!!!
