"GOT WILLYS??"
DAIRY DELIVERY!!!!
This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY
do not do this paint justice!!
The
castings were stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any
body mods or paint was done.
OK...this is what you get when you have a Milk Truck a little too
close to a 41 Willys for an extended period of time!!!! LOL!!
The front NOSE was COMPLETELY HANDFORMED from Marine Epoxy from
the fenders UP!!! It was sanded, primed, and sanded more until blended
perfectly with the original body lines and the NOSE was shaped in!!
Its also just about to drag the ground!!!!!!! Then I recut the side
body lines, doors, and hood VERY CAREFULLY with an exacto RAZOR
SAW!!
And if you will notice, the Larger rear 6 spoke Wheels were donated
from a Dub City Escalade, while the smaller fronts came off a Silverado!!
A few alterations were done to the interior and base for these wheels
and the fit of the new nose!! The front wheels were moved forward
consideribley for better alignment with the slightly longer new
wheelbase and "SWEPT" Fender openings
and during the process it was lowered somewhat until the tires have
JUST enough clearance to turn!! They roll EXTREMELY well and look
even better!!! However, the rears do not fill the fenderwell space
up as much as the wider stock wheels once did.

The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG
and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!! Alclad Chrome Lacquer!!!!
It started with a BLACK URETHANE base color, then flames were added
with Alclad Chrome!!!! Then, the Candy FADE was done THREE COLORS!!!
Starting with Candy Grandier Blue, to Candy Cobalt Blue, to Candy
Purple!!!!!!!!! Once this coat was dry, the Alclad Flames were repeated
One MORE time and followed with additional Candy FADE after the
flame pattern!!!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish PRetty
Darn SMOOTH!!!! This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe
what your eyes actually see in person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames are VERY DEEP, Ghosty, and "glowing"
CANDY!!!! The new fenders and nose give it kind of a "COE"
Ford look I think!!!!!!!

I also Detailed the exhaust tips, headlights, tail lights, park
lights, grill, with Alclad Chrome and added some Candy Red on
the tail lights!!!!!
