This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY
do not do this paint justice!!
The
casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any paint
was done.
No Major body mods on this one, but, this paint WILL AMAZE YOU!!
And for Rollers, I chose Dubs!! The
Larger rear 6 spoke Wheels were donated from a Dub City Escalade,
while the smaller fronts came off a Silverado!! A few alterations
were done to the interior and base for these wheels to fit at a
very low level!! The tires
have JUST enough clearance to turn!! They roll EXTREMELY well and
look even better!!! However, the rears do not fill the fenderwell
space up as much as the wider stock wheels once did.
The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG
and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!! Alclad Lacquers!!!!
It started with a BLACK URETHANE base color, then I added a few
coats of Alclad Prismatic Scarabeus!!!! This stuff has a very cool
color shift from deep Green to a medium Blue and some nice sparkles
too!!!!!! Once this coat was dry, the CHROMALUSION Red to Blue Flames
were applied which makes for an EXTREMELY RADICAL Color Change!!!!!!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish VERY
SMOOTH!!!! This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe
what your eyes actually see in person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames are Ghosty, and "color changin"
and the whole thing is just a KILLER combination of AWESOME paint!!!!!!!!
I also Detailed the exhaust tips, headlights, tail lights, park
lights, grill, with Alclad Chrome and added some Candy Red on
the tail lights!!!!!
