Mach One Mustang!!!!

This is a 1/64 scale casting.

I can't stress this enough, these pics
ABSOLUTELY do not do this KILLER piece justice!!

It is almost impossible to capture the incredible color shifts and sparkle in a still picture....TRUST ME....IT's WAY COOOOL!!!!!

This is another color that really looks great....but, just wait until you are holding it in your hand!!!!!!!!

As for the rollers....I chose a set of "Meats n Skinnies" from a Racing Champions donor!! Quite a lot of material had to be removed from the inner fenders, interior, and base at various places in order to get this Stang as low as it would go and still roll!! The axles were shortened and then secured to the base with Marine Epoxy and meticulously LEVELED so that all four tires touch the surface at the SAME TIME and the is NO rocking!!!!
Its low....Plus....it rolls GREAT!!!!!!!

The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint, plus, some Alclad Prismatic.

I started with a super smooth automotive grade primer and this was sanded and reprimed twice!! Then I used Createx Auto Air black base, followed with a One Of a Kind custom mix of HOK Khameleon Blue to green, Alclad Prismatic Jade, and a touch of Blue Pearl Flake ALL MIXED TOGETHER!!!
Its main color in normal lights is a sparkly Gunmetal Gray, then it gets tints to an Emerald Green, and some lights will show purple, red, and gold sparkles and tints!!! Trust me...if ya dont like the color...just turn it a little then look again!!!!
HOK SG-100 intercoat clear was then applied and after this was dry, the Flames were done with PPG Harlequin Red to Blue...which actually seems to disappear into the main colors at some angles and at others, changes from gold, red, blue, and purple!!!!

Finally, DuPont 7600 ChromaClear was shot on in 3 coats...sanding with 1500 grit two times in the process ....which makes the finish WAY SMOOTH and VERY durable!!!!

LOTS of details with Alclad Chrome, Candy Red, and Pearl Amber finish it off!!
