This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY
do not do this paint justice!!
The
casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any paint
was done.
Features a set of NICE HW Chrome rim REAL RIDERS!!!
I also had to use epoxy to mount the front axle solidly to the base,
in order to get it to set LEVEL and ROLL VERY WELL!!!!!!
The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG
and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!!
Alclad Chrome Lacquer!!!!
It started with a DARK BLACK CHERRY base color. Alclad Chrome lacquer
was used for the flames then a TWO COLOR CANDY FADE of Tangerine
and Cherry Red was applied!!!
2 part Urethane Clear was finally applied in three coats for ultimate
shine and protection!!!
This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe what your
eyes actually see in person!!!
The Black is VERY DARK with just a hint of Cherry color and the
Candy Color flames will absolutely GLOW with different angles of
view!!!!!!!
IF you have seen one of my kustoms in person before,
then, you know what I mean!!!!
If not, BELIEVE ME.....IT IS KILLER!!!
Features blacked out grill and tail light area, detailed tail lights,
exhaust tips, an opening hood and the engine details were done with
the Alclad Chrome!!!!!!!
