This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY
do not do this paint justice!!
The
casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any paint
was done.
The only major body mods, but, I did remove the "Hollywood"
rear bumper center section and smoothed out the bottom edge so that
appears to be more like a rolled pan!!
Killer 5 spoke Wheels were donated from a Dub City Astro van!! A
few alterations were done to the interior and base for these wheels
to fit in their new surroundings!! They were lowered slightly, but,
its is still not a "scraper"!!
However,
they
roll well and look even better!!!
The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG
and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!! Alclad Chrome Lacquer!!!!
It started with a BLACK URETHANE base color, followed with the AMAZING
ChromaLusion Red to Blue Color Changing paint over the entire car!!!!!!!!!
Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish EXTREMELY SMOOTH!!!!
Finally, flames were added with Alclad Chrome!!!!This is SO INCREDIBLY
KOOL that words fail to describe what your eyes actually see in
person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames look nearly exactly like real chrome!!!!
And the ChromaLusion paint NEVER ceases to amaze me with its color
shifting properties!!!!!!!
I also Detailed the tail lights with Alclad Chrome and added some
Candy Red on them for a realistic look!!!!!
