This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they do not do this KILLER piece justice!!



This is a FIRST for my kustoms!!!!
Kinda strange actually...
its one of the VERY Few that have not had
some kind of flames on it!!! LOL!!!!!!!!





This "MACE" Chassis is pretty much stock other than several details but those White Letter tires and front Pro Circuit 5 spoke wheels
are VERY COOL!!!!
The engine features black details to the blower, scoop opening, blower drive belt, exhaust tip, valve covers, and both tanks on the chassis...shocks have been painted silver and blacked out around them...high metallic silver was used on the rear wheels as well and gives them sort of an "aluminum" look!!!!


The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint, plus, Alclad Chrome lacquer.

I started with a super smooth Urethane Jet BLACK base color, I then "dusted" some PEARL Purple over the front and middle sections!!!
Then I used a Purple TINTED white for the start of the airbrushed lightning bolts!!!! Pearl Purple was then loosely traced over the bolts...
Using the Purple tinted white, I traced over the bolts again, but, A LOT tighter this time!!! A few "energy bursts" were airbrushed in at a few of the intersections as well!!! Finally...using a pure white HOK Striping Urethane, I retraced the bolts again with a 10/0 liner brush and added a few smaller bolts branching of the main ones!!! Also I faded in the nose with the pure white!!

Finally, Clear was shot on in FOUR coats...sanding with 1500 grit two times in the process....making the finish WAY SMOOTH!!!!
