This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY do not do this paint justice!!

The casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any paint was done.
This paint WILL AMAZE YOU!!

The stock rear bumper was the first thing done!!! I removed the center section, smoothed the cuts, and also ground away a lot of material on the center bottom edge of the trunk which gives it a "rolled pan" look!!! Then the taillight areas were notched and smoothed out just above the side body lines, giving the taillight areas a new look while also keeping the original "flow" of the side body lines!!!
And for Rollers, I chose a KOOL set of Racing Champions!! They are from a Stock Rod and have Yellow Letter Goodyear Eagle tires and nice Chrome "Smoothies" for the wheels!!!!! Several alterations were needed on the interior and base for these wheels to fit at a very low level!! The tires have JUST enough clearance to turn and the ride height of this Merc is now much more pleasing!!!! They roll pretty well and look even better!!!





The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!! Alclad Lacquers!!!!


It started with a BLACK URETHANE base color, then I added a few coats of Alclad Prismatic Scarabeus!!!! This stuff has a very cool color shift from deep Green to a medium Blue and some nice sparkles too!!!!!! Once this coat was dry, the CHROMALUSION Red to Blue Flames were applied which makes for an EXTREMELY RADICAL Color Change!!!!!!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish VERY SMOOTH!!!! This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe what your eyes actually see in person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames are Ghosty, and "color changin" and the whole thing is just a KILLER combination of AWESOME COLORS!!!!!!!!







I also Detailed the headlights and tail lights with Alclad Chrome and added some Candy Red on the tail lights!!! I think they resemble 55 Chevy lights, but, that could just be me!!!!!
