This is a 1/64 scale casting.
These pics are pretty good, but, I can't stress this enough,
they ABSOLUTELY do not do this paint justice!!

The casting was stripped, sanded and polished slightly before any paint was done.
This paint WILL AMAZE YOU!!

The stock rear bumper was the first thing done!!! I removed the center section, smoothed the cuts, and also ground away a lot of material on the center bottom edge of the trunk which gives it a "rolled pan" look!!!
And for Rollers, I chose a DUB CITY 5 Spokes!! A LOT of alterations were needed on the inside of the body, interior, and base for these wheels to fit at a very low level!! Bothe axles were shortened and "sleeved" with stainless steel tubing so that they roll nicely!!!!! The tires have JUST enough clearance to turn and the ride height of this Merc is now much more pleasing!!!! They roll as good as they look too!!!





The paint is ALL AIRBRUSHED (as with all my kustoms) PPG and House Of Color AUTOMOTIVE paint.
PLUS!!! Alclad Lacquers!!!!


It started with a BLACK URETHANE base color, then I added Alclad Chrome!!!! This was followed with 8 coats of CANDY TANGERINE!!!!!!! Once the Candy was dry, the CHROMALUSION Gold to Magenta Flames were applied which makes for EXTREMELY GHOSTY flames because the color shifts from bright gold, to bronze, to light purple!!!!!!!!!
Finally, Clear was shot on in three coats making the finish VERY SMOOTH!!!! This is SO INCREDIBLY KOOL that words fail to describe what your eyes actually see in person!!!
NO KIDDING...... The Flames are Ghosty, and "color changin" thus at some angles and lights, the flames are there and might even look purple, then a slight change in light or angle and THEY ARE GONE..."melted" into the killer Candy!!!!!!!!







I also Detailed the headlights and tail lights with Alclad Chrome and added some Candy Red on the tail lights!!!
