The Police version is one of the "Mystery Chase" editions. Not sure if the mystery stops there or not, but even tho Im not normally a fan of 5O themed rides...this one ROCKS!!
...I really like it and am proud to have 192 of 192 !!

You will likely need to make the entire turret rotate if you go that route..or modify the top of turret, because the base of the boom is fit to the top of turret in a 'socket' that only allows it to move in one direction...even without the pin in place, the boom is still very stable in lowered positions. Nice, tight tolerance engineering..very impressive.
