SEVERAL LAYERS (9+ total layers) of candy flames create the "True Fire" ...starting with Candy Red over White. Candy Tangerine applied over a layer Tangelo Pearl flame layers....HOK Candy Pagan Gold over HOK white flames, and slightly "toned back" with light mix of a Candy Tangerine.....another layer of Pagan Gold over custom mix Auto Air pale yellow. SG100 IC Clear, followed with a very loosely applied pearl purple around the outer edges to serve as a background for the blue/purple fire, SG100 applied, and then a custom mixed sky blue was utilized for the blue fire licks, which were faded back on outer edges with AutoAir Candy Magenta....makes a nice transition from blue to purple!
See the close up pic below to get an idea of this effects actual colors, but it wont do it any real justice until you see it in person.
The flames are very detailed as are the skulls ...all blended into the fire ball.
By the way, I "intentionally" added 17 separate skulls faces in the fire, at various angles and levels of detail. There could easily be more which are an incidental product of the fire licks themselves!!! -
"Foot Deep" Dupont 7600 ChromaClear (several coats) ~ Color Sanded, twice, machine and Hand polished to an ULTRA SMOOOOOOTH Finish!! - Only the best High Quality Automotive paints used... HOKs UK Candies, Tangelo Pearl, SG100 intercoat clear, various shades of custom mixed AutoAir Colors and Dupont 7600 2 part Urethane Clear to seal it all up!!

ALL FREEHAND AIRBRUSHED...Kustom PAINT work!!
This piece has finish much like those found on Custom Cars...
glassy smooth and altho I wouldn't necessarily recommend it,
this finish "could be" exposed to daily elements without fear of rust or damage.
It could be framed or mounted almost anywhere
via predrilled holes in each corner.
